Root Cause

The sensor sits directly behind the front Nissan badge. Condensation builds up inside the unit, shorting the circuit board.

How To Fix

  1. Check the sensor behind the badge. If the bracket is bent, it can simply be realigned and recalibrated.
  2. If water damaged, a new radar unit is required (£400-600).
  3. MUST be calibrated by a dealer or ADAS specialist after fitting.
  4. Cost fitted and calibrated: £600-800
